Dr. Carter’s staff text me several updates while my little goblin was undergoing surgery. After her procedure, I was encouraged to text Dr.Carter if there were any problems…no matter the time. Highly recommend this office.

Weegie McAdamsJanuary 25, 2024I’ve had such a good experience at Whiskers. One of my cats had bad stomatitis and needed to have all of her teeth removed. After reviewing my cat’s medical history and doing an exam, Dr Carter took the time to explain all the details of the procedure including reviewing photos of my kitty’s mouth, options for pain control, after care, even a bit of pathophysiology. The staff at Whiskers have been very helpful, thorough, and kind. But most of all, when I asked questions about how my cat would be monitored during the procedure, I felt very confident of her safety. I highly recommend Whiskers!

For Dr. Carter, Whiskers Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery is the culmination of his veterinary career, spanning from his experiences as a volunteer at a small animal hospital at the age of 16, a mixed animal practitioner in rural communities, a small animal practitioner discovering a passion helping animals have a mouth free of pain and infection, and all the excitement in between. Hannahbess is originally from New Zealand, where she graduated from Massey University. She has worked with cats, dogs, farm animals and exotic pets in New Zealand, Canada and the US. Dr. Martin Kennedy is a Board-Certified Veterinary Anesthesiologist™ who recently joined the Whiskers Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery team. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Cornell University and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin. After graduation, he completed a residency program in Anesthesia & Pain Management at the University of Wisconsin and a rotating internship at the University of Minnesota. Read More >
