At Whiskers Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery, we perform oral surgery for several conditions. The most common oral surgery we perform are surgical extractions as this requires a gingival flap to be elevated, followed by removal of bone and sectioning of multi-rooted teeth into single sections before removal and closure for rapid healing. Oral surgery is also performed for removal of tumors, repair of defects of the hard and soft palate, oronasal fistulas, and traumatic injuries such as fractures using miniplates and locking screws.
